Ingredients
- Lamb shoulder - 300 grams, diced into 2.5 cm cubes
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Wooden or metal skewers - 4
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground cinnamon, salt, black pepper, olive oil, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
- Add the diced lamb to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for deeper flavor.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning (if using). Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite dips or salad.
