Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., sea bass or tilapia) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons (for sauce)
  • Water - 1 tablespoon (for tahini sauce)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (for tahini sauce)
  • Salt - pinch (for tahini sauce)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together tahini, water, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the fish from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the grill.
  6. Grill the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
  7. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve the grilled fish garnished with chopped parsley and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
