Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
