Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 400 grams
  • Garlic cloves, minced - 2
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato, sliced - 1
  • Cucumber, sliced - 1/2

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 75°C.
  4. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the gluten-free burger buns in another skillet with the remaining olive oil until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by the cooked chicken patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or side.
