Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and slightly charred.
- Meanwhile, warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Serve the grilled chicken skewers on the warm pita bread, topped with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and chopped parsley.
