Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 400 grams
- Yogurt - 120 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 30 ml
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Wooden skewers - 4 pieces (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with garlic sauce and your choice of pita or salad.
