Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Yogurt - 120 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 pieces (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with garlic sauce and your choice of pita or salad.
