Ingredients
- Zucchini noodles - 400 grams
- Chicken breast - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Tahini - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet and season with cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the zucchini noodles using a spiralizer or by buying pre-spiralized noodles.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the zucchini noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the zucchini noodles are just tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, tahini, and lemon juice until smooth. Add a little water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the yogurt-tahini sauce over the chicken and zucchini noodles. Toss gently to combine.
- Serve the Shawarma Pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
