Ingredients

  • Zucchini noodles - 400 grams
  • Chicken breast - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Tahini - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet and season with cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the zucchini noodles using a spiralizer or by buying pre-spiralized noodles.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, add the zucchini noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the zucchini noodles are just tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, tahini, and lemon juice until smooth. Add a little water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the yogurt-tahini sauce over the chicken and zucchini noodles. Toss gently to combine.
  7. Serve the Shawarma Pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
