- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into two patties of equal size, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add a little water to achieve a smooth, pourable consistency.
- Warm the pita bread in a separate skillet for about 1 minute on each side.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty inside a warm pita. Top with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and drizzle with tahini sauce.
