Ingredients

  • Swiss chard - 200 grams
  • Spinach - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted

Steps

  1. Wash the Swiss chard and spinach thoroughly, then chop them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped Swiss chard and spinach to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the onion and garlic.
  5. Season the greens with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the greens are wilted and tender.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the lemon juice over the sautéed greens. Toss gently to combine.
  7. Transfer the sautéed greens to a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts before serving.
