- Swiss chard - 200 grams
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted
Steps
- Wash the Swiss chard and spinach thoroughly, then chop them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped Swiss chard and spinach to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the onion and garlic.
- Season the greens with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the greens are wilted and tender.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the lemon juice over the sautéed greens. Toss gently to combine.
- Transfer the sautéed greens to a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts before serving.
