Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as sea bass or snapper) - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish marinates, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together tahini, water, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if necessary.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  5. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Serve the grilled fish drizzled with the tahini sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
