Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (such as cod or haddock) - 300 grams
  • Plain Greek yogurt - 200 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Fresh mint, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped mint, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to create the sauce.
  3. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and pour half of the yogurt sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Add 200 ml of water to the baking dish to keep the fish moist while baking.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and spread the remaining yogurt sauce on top of the fish. Bake uncovered for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
