  • Chicken broth - 2 cups
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Rinse the long-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak in water for 20 minutes.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
