Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Pine nuts - 50 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato - 1 small, sliced
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and pine nuts. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, approximately 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, and water in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the water for your desired consistency.
  5. Once the burgers are cooked, assemble your burger by placing a patty on the bottom half of the bun, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, and a generous drizzle of tahini sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Pine Nut Beef Burger!
