- Garlic cloves, minced - 3
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Add the reserved pasta water gradually to the skillet, stirring until the sauce is well integrated and the pasta is coated.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- Serve the pasta warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
