- Lamb shoulder - 250 grams, diced
- Pasta (your choice) - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomato - 1 large, diced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and diced lamb to the skillet. Cook until the lamb is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomato, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomato softens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well, allowing the flavors to meld for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice before serving.
