Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 250 grams, diced
  • Pasta (your choice) - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato - 1 large, diced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and diced lamb to the skillet. Cook until the lamb is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomato, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomato softens.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well, allowing the flavors to meld for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice before serving.
