Ingredients
- Gluten-free pasta - 200 grams
- Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and add it directly to the skillet with the garlic oil.
- Toss the pasta in the garlic oil, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve your desired sauce consistency.
- Stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until everything is combined and heated through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
