- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Pomegranate molasses - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Whole grain bread - 4 slices
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- In a food processor, combine the roasted red peppers, walnuts, breadcrumbs, garlic, ground cumin, pomegranate molasses, salt, and black pepper.
- Blend until smooth, then drizzle in the olive oil while the processor is running until well combined.
- Transfer the Muhammara to a bowl and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
- Serve the Muhammara with the warm toasted bread for dipping.
