Ingredients
- White fish fillets (like sea bass or tilapia) - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini and water in a separate bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if necessary, and set aside.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through and flaky.
- Once grilled, remove the fish and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the fish topped with tahini sauce and garnish with chopped parsley and mint.
