Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (like sea bass or tilapia) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the fish is marinating, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini and water in a separate bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if necessary, and set aside.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Once grilled, remove the fish and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the fish topped with tahini sauce and garnish with chopped parsley and mint.
