Ingredients

  • Cucumber - 200 grams
  • Carrot - 100 grams
  • Cauliflower - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 100 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 2 pieces
  • White vinegar - 120 ml
  • Water - 120 ml
  • Sea salt - 2 teaspoons
  • Black peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
  • Dill sprigs - 4 pieces

Steps

  1. Wash all the vegetables thoroughly and cut the cucumber and carrot into sticks, the cauliflower into small florets, and the red bell pepper into strips.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sea salt, and black peppercorns. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the salt dissolves.
  3. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and let the brine cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. In a clean jar, layer the prepared vegetables and garlic cloves. Add the dill sprigs on top.
  5. Pour the cooled brine over the vegetables in the jar, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly.
  6. Let the jar sit at room temperature for about 24 hours for the flavors to develop, then refrigerate for at least an additional 24 hours before serving.
