Ingredients
- Cucumber - 200 grams
- Carrot - 100 grams
- Cauliflower - 100 grams
- Red bell pepper - 100 grams
- Garlic cloves - 2 pieces
- White vinegar - 120 ml
- Water - 120 ml
- Sea salt - 2 teaspoons
- Black peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
- Dill sprigs - 4 pieces
Steps
- Wash all the vegetables thoroughly and cut the cucumber and carrot into sticks, the cauliflower into small florets, and the red bell pepper into strips.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sea salt, and black peppercorns. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the salt dissolves.
- Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and let the brine cool for about 10 minutes.
- In a clean jar, layer the prepared vegetables and garlic cloves. Add the dill sprigs on top.
- Pour the cooled brine over the vegetables in the jar, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly.
- Let the jar sit at room temperature for about 24 hours for the flavors to develop, then refrigerate for at least an additional 24 hours before serving.
