- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Labneh - 4 tablespoons
- Pickled turnips - 50 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato slices - 1 medium
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by lightly toasting them.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of labneh on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Place the cooked beef patties on top of the labneh layer.
- Add a few slices of pickled turnips, a slice of tomato, and some chopped parsley on top of each patty.
- Finish by adding a lettuce leaf and placing the top half of the bun over the filling.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
