Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Cornstarch - 30 g
  • Rose water - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Pistachios (crushed) - 20 g
  • Water - 50 ml

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix the cornstarch with the water to create a smooth slurry.
  2. Add the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and rose water to the saucepan and stir well.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and continuously stir until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and pour the mixture into two serving bowls or cups.
  5. Let the pudding cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle the crushed pistachios on top for garnish.
