Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Cornstarch - 30 g
  • Orange blossom water - 1 tsp
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios, chopped - 20 g
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, mix the cornstarch and a pinch of salt with a little bit of the milk to create a smooth paste.
  2. Add the remaining milk and sugar to the saucepan, and stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the orange blossom water.
  4. Pour the mixture into small serving bowls or ramekins and let cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 2 hours to set.
  5. Before serving, drizzle each bowl with honey and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
