Ingredients

  • Coconut milk - 400 ml
  • Arrowroot powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Rose water - 1 teaspoon
  • Almonds (sliced) - 2 tablespoons
  • Pistachios (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the coconut milk and honey over medium heat, stirring until the honey is dissolved.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the arrowroot powder with 2 tablespoons of cold water to create a slurry.
  3. Once the coconut milk mixture is warm, slowly add the arrowroot slurry while continuously whisking to avoid lumps.
  4. Continue to cook the mixture on low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the rose water and cinnamon powder.
  6. Pour the mixture into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  8. Before serving, garnish with sliced almonds, chopped pistachios, and fresh mint leaves.
