- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground lamb or beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Bell pepper - 1/2, diced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, eggs, olive oil, water, and salt until a dough forms.
- Spread the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a circle about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in the diced tomato, bell pepper, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and evenly spread the meat mixture over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes until the edges are crisp.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
