Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Cornstarch - 30 g
  • Orange blossom water - 1 tsp
  • Pistachios, crushed - 20 g
  • Almonds, sliced - 20 g
  • Water - 50 ml

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch with the milk, whisking until smooth.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the orange blossom water.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving bowls or cups and let it cool at room temperature for 10 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
  5. Once set, garnish with crushed pistachios and sliced almonds before serving.
