- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Makanek (Lebanese sausage) - 150 grams, sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2 small, sliced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, cumin, paprika, egg, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray and press the dough into a circular shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, until slightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced Makanek and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over it.
- Top with the cooked Makanek, sliced bell pepper, and red onion.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, slice, and serve hot.
