Ingredients
- Milk - 500 ml
- Sugar - 60 g
- Cornstarch - 30 g
- Rose water - 1 tbsp
- Almonds (sliced) - 20 g
- Pistachios (crushed) - 20 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch and sugar with 50 ml of water, whisking until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk to the saucepan while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 10 minutes).
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the rose water.
- Pour the mixture into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Before serving, garnish with sliced almonds, crushed pistachios, and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
