Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 60 g
  • Cornstarch - 30 g
  • Rose water - 1 tbsp
  • Almonds (sliced) - 20 g
  • Pistachios (crushed) - 20 g
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 50 ml

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch and sugar with 50 ml of water, whisking until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the milk to the saucepan while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 10 minutes).
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the rose water.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with sliced almonds, crushed pistachios, and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
