Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Fresh lemon juice - 3 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into equal-sized pieces for even cooking and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken pieces on the grill.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
