- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Zaatar spice mix - 2 teaspoons
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower until it resembles rice, then steam it for 5 minutes.
- Allow the steamed cauliflower to cool, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, almond flour, egg, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to form a dough.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower dough into a round pizza shape, about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until golden and firm.
- Remove the crust, spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base, and sprinkle with zaatar seasoning.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced bell pepper, red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.
