Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 300 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped onion, fresh parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the chicken mixture into two equal parts and shape each part into a burger patty.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, warm the pita bread in a separate pan or microwave until soft.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a piece of warm pita bread.
  6. Top each burger with lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
  7. Fold the pita over the fillings and serve immediately.
