- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2-3 cm thick.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through to an internal temperature of 70°C.
- While the patties are cooking, warm the pita bread in a separate pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once the patties are done, assemble the burgers by placing each patty in a pita bread and topping it with sliced tomato, lettuce, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
