- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 250 milliliters
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, and ground coriander to the pot. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly.
