Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 1 medium head, riced
- Ground lamb or beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 400 milliliters
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
- Add the ground lamb or beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Stir in the cinnamon, allspice, turmeric, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix in the riced cauliflower and stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, bring to a simmer, and then transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
