Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 medium head, riced
  • Ground lamb or beef - 250 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken or vegetable broth - 400 milliliters
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add the ground lamb or beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Stir in the cinnamon, allspice, turmeric, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix in the riced cauliflower and stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, bring to a simmer, and then transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
