- Lamb mince - 400 grams

- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Yogurt - 100 grams, for serving
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges for serving
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine lamb mince, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped mint, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Using your hands, mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Cover the bowl and let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Divide the lamb mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into oval kofta patties or skewers.
- Brush the kofta lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the kofta on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
- Warm the pita bread on the grill for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- Serve the kofta hot with yogurt and lemon wedges on the side.
