Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to help them firm up.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, and water in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed.
  5. Toast the gluten-free burger buns in a toaster or on a pan until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each lamb patty on a bun, topped with sliced tomato and cucumber, and drizzling with tahini sauce. Serve immediately.
