- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to help them firm up.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, and water in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed.
- Toast the gluten-free burger buns in a toaster or on a pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each lamb patty on a bun, topped with sliced tomato and cucumber, and drizzling with tahini sauce. Serve immediately.
