- Parsley - 30 grams (finely chopped)
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pine nuts - 30 grams (toasted)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 50 milliliters
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Add the toasted pine nuts to the meat mixture and mix gently to combine.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly to about 2.5 cm thick. Use a spatula to smooth the surface.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meat mixture and use a fork to create shallow lines on the surface for better cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and slightly browned on the edges.
- While the meat is baking, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together tahini, lemon juice, and water in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the meat is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into burger-sized pieces.
- Serve warm with tahini sauce on the side.
