Ingredients

  • Plant-based plain yogurt - 400 grams
  • Za'atar spice mix - 2 tablespoons
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces, for serving
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the plant-based yogurt with 1 tablespoon of za'atar and a pinch of salt. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Transfer the yogurt mixture to a serving dish, smoothing out the top with the back of a spoon.
  3. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the yogurt layer, ensuring an even spread.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of za'atar on top of the yogurt and olive oil.
  5. Arrange the sliced cucumber and halved cherry tomatoes around the yogurt on the serving plate.
