Ingredients
- Labneh - 200 grams
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried mint - 1 teaspoon
- Zaatar - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pine nuts - 30 grams (toasted)
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon (chopped, for garnish)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the labneh and salt, mixing well until smooth.
- Using your hands, form the labneh mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- In a small bowl, mix the dried mint, zaatar, and chili flakes together.
- In a shallow dish, drizzle a layer of olive oil and sprinkle half of the spice mixture over it.
- Carefully place the labneh balls in the dish, then drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over the top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with toasted pine nuts and chopped fresh parsley.
