Ingredients

  • Ground beef or lamb - 250 grams
  • Onion, finely grated - 1 small (about 50 grams)
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden) - 4

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Using your hands, mix the ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into elongated kebab shapes around the skewers.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  4. Once hot, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and has a nice char.
  5. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
