Ingredients
- Ground beef or lamb - 250 grams
- Onion, finely grated - 1 small (about 50 grams)
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers (soaked in water if wooden) - 4
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Using your hands, mix the ingredients until well combined, then form the mixture into elongated kebab shapes around the skewers.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Once hot, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
