- Water - 100ml
- Raw pistachios, crushed - 30g
- Raw almonds, crushed - 30g
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Orange blossom water - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish - a few
Steps
- In a bowl, soak the fine bulgur wheat in 100ml of water for about 10 minutes or until it absorbs the water and becomes soft.
- Once the bulgur is ready, drain any excess water and squeeze out any remaining moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened bulgur wheat, crushed pistachios, crushed almonds, honey, cinnamon, cardamom, orange blossom water, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a small serving dish or mold, pressing it down gently to form a compact layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and added aroma.
