- Plain Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and add to the marinade. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
