Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Plain Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and add to the marinade. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
