- Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into cubes

- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Ground paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4-6 pieces
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, yogurt, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with a side of garlic sauce or tzatziki for dipping.
