Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Ground lamb - 200 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1 small, diced
- Tomato - 1 small, diced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground lamb, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal burger patties, about 2.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the burger patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- On a plate, layer the romaine lettuce leaves, then place the burger patties on top. Add diced cucumber, tomato, and red onion.
- Drizzle the tahini sauce over the burgers and serve immediately.
