  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Red onion - 1/4, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Tahini - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh garlic - 1 clove, minced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the salad by combining diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and chopped parsley in a bowl. Toss lightly and set aside.
  5. For the garlic sauce, mix Greek yogurt, tahini, minced garlic, and water in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust salt to taste.
