Ingredients
- Almond flour - 200 grams
- Ground lamb or beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the ground meat, paprika, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in the chopped parsley and crumbled feta cheese, if using. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour with the egg to form a dough. If the dough is too crumbly, add a teaspoon of water until it holds together.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and flatten each into a disc about 1/2 inch thick.
- Place a portion of the meat mixture in the center of each disc and fold the dough over to create a small pocket, sealing the edges firmly.
- Place the sfeeha on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy your Keto Sfeeha!
