Ingredients
- Almond flour - 150g
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100g
- Cream cheese - 50g
- Egg - 1 large
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Roasted red peppers (jarred) - 100g
- Walnuts - 50g
- Garlic cloves - 2, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, salt, and paprika to form a dough.
- Spread the dough evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form a pizza crust, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and firm.
- While the crust is baking, prepare the Muhammara sauce by blending roasted red peppers, walnuts, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the Muhammara sauce evenly over the top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve hot.
