Ingredients

  • Roasted red bell peppers - 150 grams
  • Walnuts - 50 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. If using raw walnuts, toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until fragrant, then let them cool.
  2. In a food processor, combine the roasted red bell peppers, toasted walnuts, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
