Ingredients

  • Lamb chops - 4 pieces (about 500g)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Greek yogurt - 100g
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cinnamon, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the lamb chops in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  3. While the lamb is marinating, prepare the mint yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is around 60°C internal temperature).
  6. Remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the grilled lamb chops with the mint yogurt sauce on the side.
