- Lamb chops - 4 pieces (about 500g)
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Greek yogurt - 100g
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cinnamon, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the lamb chops in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- While the lamb is marinating, prepare the mint yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is around 60°C internal temperature).
- Remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the grilled lamb chops with the mint yogurt sauce on the side.
