Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Labneh - 100 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams, chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 10 grams, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - ½ medium, sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the labneh sauce by mixing labneh with chopped mint and parsley in a small bowl.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To assemble, place a lettuce leaf on a plate, add the beef patty, top with labneh sauce, and add slices of tomato and cucumber.
