Ingredients

  • Ground beef (or lamb) - 250 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground allspice - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce (sugar-free) - 100 grams
  • Feta cheese (crumbled) - 50 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Pine nuts (optional) - 20 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef (or lamb) to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. In a bowl, combine the almond flour with the remaining olive oil and a pinch of salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Press the almond flour mixture into a greased pizza pan or baking sheet to create a crust, making sure it's evenly spread out.
  7. Spread the tomato sauce over the crust, then evenly distribute the cooked meat mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the meat and add pine nuts if using.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is slightly browned.
  10. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
